Guldhjulet Award & Book Release
To mark the release of her autobiography Under samma mörka himmel, Teresa Afonso Leimdörfer and her husband Peter Leimdörfer are donating SEK 500,000 through Guldhjulet. The recipients will be announced on the 20th of October 2026.
In the book, Teresa tells the story of her eventful life, from growing up in war-torn Angola to building a new life in Sweden. At its centre are her own experiences of men’s violence and control, but also her path to safety: learning Swedish, finding work, becoming financially independent and eventually building a successful business of her own.
